The Seoul K-Family Festival is taking place from Friday, June 30th to Sunday, July 2nd at the vibrant Cheonggye Plaza. With free admission, this festival aims to promote low birth rates, aging policies, and comprehensive sex education, all while spreading the rich cultural heritage of Korea. Organized in collaboration with over 10 civil society organizations, the Seoul K-Family Festival will reignite the value and significance of family in society.

The festival offers an array of engaging programs designed for families to enjoy together. Among the highlights is a captivating talk concert, where participants will have the opportunity to share their cultural perspectives on marriage and family. This platform will also delve into the pressing issue of low birth rates and the challenges posed by an aging society in Korea, presenting innovative policy proposals to tackle these concerns. Moreover, visitors can expect a wide range of performances and interactive booths suitable for all age groups, from children to the elderly.

To address the challenges of low birth rates and an aging society, the festival will feature a family policy contest and a happy family photo contest. These initiatives aim to stimulate conversations and inspire creative solutions to these pressing issues that impact Korean society.

• 16:40 – 18:00: Stage Performances by Simuna(시뮤나), Monkey Note(몽키노트), Gracious Band(은혜로운 밴드), Alpaca Acoustage(알파카 어쿠스테이지), and Handam(한담)

Saturday, July 1st
